Q: 4. What should I do if I forgot my LERIS PRC password?

If you've forgotten your password, select Forgot Password on the LERIS sign-in page. Enter the email address associated with your account and follow the OTP verification process. Once verified, you can create a new password and use it to sign in again.

Question 1

1. What is LERIS PRC and what can I do on it?

Accepted Answer

LERIS is the PRC’s online system for handling many professional transactions. Applicants can use it to apply for licensure examinations, complete initial registration, renew a Professional Identification Card, and request certain certifications. It also allows users to schedule appointments and make applicable payments online.

Question 2

2. How do I register for a PRC LERIS account?

Accepted Answer

To create an account, open the PRC online portal and select Register. Accept the terms, then provide your personal information, email address and password. Make sure the details you enter are accurate because your LERIS profile is used for future PRC transactions.

Question 3

3. How do I log in to my LERIS PRC account?

Accepted Answer

Go to the PRC online portal and enter the email address and password connected to your account. You may also need to complete the site's verification and enter an OTP sent to your registered email. If you cannot remember your password, use the Forgot Password option to reset it.

Question 4

4. What should I do if I forgot my LERIS PRC password?

Accepted Answer

If you've forgotten your password, select Forgot Password on the LERIS sign-in page. Enter the email address associated with your account and follow the OTP verification process. Once verified, you can create a new password and use it to sign in again.

Question 5

5. How do I book a PRC appointment through LERIS?

Accepted Answer

Log in to your LERIS account and choose the transaction you need, such as examination application, registration or renewal. Select your preferred PRC regional office or service centre, then choose an available date and time. After confirming the appointment details, proceed with the required payment.

Question 6

6. Can I go to PRC without an online appointment?

Accepted Answer

For regular PRC transactions, applicants generally need to secure an appointment through the online system before visiting the office. The source notes that walk-ins are not normally accepted for these transactions, while certain manual or petition requests may follow different procedures. It is therefore safer to check the requirements for your specific transaction before going to a PRC office.

Question 7

7. What should I do if LERIS says “Valid ID Not Found”?

Accepted Answer

This message can occur when you're applying for a new examination or initial registration while the renewal option is still selected in your profile. Open your profile, edit the relevant information and turn off the renewal setting. Then enter your current government ID details and try the transaction again.

Question 8

8. Can I renew my PRC license while abroad?

Accepted Answer

Yes, the source indicates that PRC license renewal can be processed while you're overseas through the online system. You can complete the renewal application and payment online, while card claiming may be handled through an authorised representative in the Philippines. An authorisation letter or Special Power of Attorney may be required for the representative.

Question 9

9. What happens if I miss my PRC LERIS appointment?

Accepted Answer

If you miss an appointment, don't immediately assume that you must submit a new application or pay again. The source includes PRC/FOI information indicating that some missed appointments may still be accommodated after the scheduled date. However, policies can depend on the transaction and office, so applicants should follow the applicable PRC instructions and bring their printed application and payment proof.
